Summary
Heart of Campus is returning on April 14th! Designed to recognize the contributions and challenges of staff in administrative support roles, the event will feature professional development sessions with topics on event planning, Power Automate, dealing with conflict in the workplace, AI tools for admins, and more!
There will be networking opportunities, a keynote presentation on emotional intelligence, and lunch will be provided.
This event is sponsored by the Office of the Provost, Office of the Executive Vice President, and University Human Resources with additional funding provided by Vision 2026 Funds, Professionals & Professional Faculty Assembly, and was made possible by a generous grant from the IDEA Grant Endowment through the Office of Inclusive Excellence.
Participant Information
The day will kick off with a special welcome from Provost Peggy Agouris, Executive Vice President Mike Todd, and Chief Human Resource Officer Anne Roemer, setting the tone for an energizing and impactful experience.
In addition to our engaging 45-minute training sessions, you’ll enjoy:
🧘 An opening session featuring meditation, mindfulness, and yoga to help you reset and recharge
🎤 Lunch with keynote speaker Erica MacLeod, who will deliver an inspiring presentation on emotional intelligence
🎨 A creative close to the day with art therapy, plus exciting giveaways (must be present to win!)
