Duties: University spokesperson and lead media contact for the university. Also directs media relations strategy and outreach and is responsible for media and other filming requests on campus. Additional responsibilities include issue management, breaking news response, serving as the PIO for the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Police Department and supporting the university's Emergency Management Team as a member of the Emergency Communications Team.

Duties: Assists with management of university's media response and crisis communications. Promotes 91¿´Æ¬Íø by pitching stories and experts to local, regional and national news outlets. Also serves as backup spokesperson. Other duties may include working with the Content & Strategy team on writing, editing and proofreading stories for the W&M News or working on special projects or major events.
