Password Recovery

Set-up a recovery email address for your W&M account

Ever forget your W&M account's password?  It's frustrating, and it can happen at the most inconvenient times.  With a bit of advanced planning, you can reset it on your own, at any time, through our new Self-Service Password Recovery system.

To set it up or change your recovery email address, follow these steps:

1. Go to or use the Change Your W&M Account's Password link on the 91¿´Æ¬Íø Information Technology homepage and then click on Password Recovery.
2. Select . Follow the prompts to provide a recovery email address.
3. Confirm the email address (Use the link in the activation email sent to the recovery email address you selected).

And you're all set! 

To initiate a password reset for your WMuserid:

1. Go to or use the Change Your W&M Account's Password link on the W&M IT Homepage and then click on Password Recovery.
