W&M, Richard Bland gearing up for Promise Scholars debut

W&M has chosen the first six professors to be involved in the program. Iyabo Osiapem, senior lecturer of Africana studies and linguistics, and Bev Sher, senior lecturer of chemistry and the universitys chief health professions advisor, will lead off.

McLaughlin set to sail the seven seas

Chosen to be crew member aboard the Picton Castle, Andrew McLaughlin '20 will cover 30,000 sea-miles on a voyage that achieves a five-year goal, part of which is to distribute medicine and books to island people in dire need of both.
