Prof. Rodney Ferrão co-edited a special issue of the João Roque Literary Journal
R. Benedito Ferrão and Deborah Al-Najjar have co-edited a special issue of the João Roque Literary Journal titled "." Contributors to the issue use varied media including canvas, short film, documentary, memoir, prose poem, graphic comic book and narrative essay to recall how the war shaped their lives and the lives of those dear to them, how it formed muscle memory and birthed trauma passed down the generations. This unique issue looks at war from various perspectives, at once erasing national boundaries while acknowledging the personhood of those affected.
