91¿´Æ¬Íø’s legacy of success with the Goldwater Scholarship Program continues in 2019 as two students have been named to the exclusive list of undergraduate scholars. Hana Warner ’20 and Grace Solini ‘20 are among just 496 undergraduate students nationwide to be named Goldwater Scholars in 2019.
Sofya Zaytseva, a fifth-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Applied Science at 91¿´Æ¬Íø, is working to engineer a better oyster reef.
Jacopo Gliozzi is the 2019 recipient of 91¿´Æ¬Íø’s Thomas Jefferson Prize in Natural Philosophy. The honor is endowed by the trustees of the Thomas Jefferson Memorial Foundation to recognize excellence in the sciences and mathematics in an undergraduate student.
An algorithm used to solve shipping problems, manage kidney exchanges and karyotype chromosomes will now be pairing 91¿´Æ¬Íø students with pre-major advisors.
