Bio

Jenny researches the circulation of printed objects in the early modern world, with a focus on the circulation of print between the German lands and early America. Her dissertation uses the Pennsylvania-based Saur printer family as a window into larger questions about the social and cultural meaning of print on both sides of the Atlantic during the long eighteenth century. Originally from Austin, Texas, Jennifer holds a B.A. in German from Sewanee: University of the South, and an M.A. in History from 91��Ƭ��. Her research has been supported by the German Historical Institute, the Herzog August Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel, Rare Book School, and the German Studies Association, among others.
