Awards Abound at Economic History Meetings

The meetings took place in Boulder, Colorado, this year (September 16-18) where our economic historians swept two of the major prizes. won (for the second time, last in 2013) the Larry Neal Prize for best article in Explorations in Economic History, and won the Cole Prize for the best article in the Journal of Economic History. The winners are selected by their respective editorial boards. The corresponding papers are:
