Major Advising
Students traditionally declare their majors in the spring of their sophomore year. To declare a chemistry major, follow the steps below:
- Complete one major declaration form
- Standard Chemistry Major [pdf]
- Chemistry major with a Concentration in Biochemistry [pdf]
- Chemistry major with a Concentration in Chemical Physics [pdf]
- Ask any chemistry faculty member to serve as your major advisor.
- Meet with your major advisor to review your plans and sign your form.
- Submit the original signed declaration to the Registrar's Office.
