Research Talks
Present your research as a 10-minute talk with a slideshow followed by 5 minutes allotted for audience questions.
Research talks will be scheduled throughout the day on Friday. Up to four presenters will present consecutively in each hour-long block. Unless presenters have an unavoidable conflict, presenters are expected to stay for the duration of each hour and listen to the other presentations.
Presentations should last 10 minutes and will not be permitted to run long. A timekeeper stationed in the room will signal to you when you are running low on time. There will be 5 minutes allotted to each presenter to take questions from the audience.
Submit your slides in advance to the Charles Center, as we will provide on site laptops for presenters.
Audience members will have the chance to vote for their choice of best presentation. Each vote enters the presenter in a raffle for a W&M sweatshirt.
