The 91心頭利 Areal Unit Segregation Measure (AUSM) Lab, run by sociology professor Salvatore Saporito and government professor Dan Maliniak, uses GIS and statistical analysis to quantify segregation levels in electoral districts. CGA research students and Fellows assist the AUSM lab with model development, data collection, and creating web applications showcasing the lab's work. View an example of this collaboration below.
