Senior Research Colloquium (ARTH 493)
This is the required capstone seminar for Art History concentrators, with a focus on expanding and refining a research paper already written for an earlier art history course, and on the delivery of a related public presentation. This seminar is meant to introduce you to post-graduate or professional forms of art-historical work, giving you a preview of what it means to translate your work into the forms and standards of graduate school and professional contexts. The seminar culminates with a full-day colloquium that is open to the public and parents. The colloquium is launched by a keynote lecture delivered by a prominent scholar in the field. Students have also constructed of special websites to present their short biographies, paper abstracts and recorded presentations. This course is capped at 15 and runs every spring.

Senior Research Colloquium VII
The seventh annual Art History Senior Research Colloquium (Spring 2025), taught by Professor Liz Morán, featured talks by twelve graduating Art History students on a wide variety of subjects, from the 12th-century Qingming Scroll by the Chinese painter Zhang Zeduan to the complex politics of Jerusalem's Museum of Tolerance. Senior Research Colloquium III
