Linguistic Anthropology Courses
This is a list of courses that satisfy the Linguistic Anthropology sub-field course requirements. Several courses are listed under more than one subfield. A course may fulfill one, and only one subfield course requirement. For example, you may take ANTH 205: Anthropology and Language to fulfill your Linguistic Anthropology course requirement, but not both the Linguistic Anthropology AND Socio-Cultural Anthropology requirements.
PLEASE NOTE: The requirement that all majors take one course in Linguistic Anthropology has been suspended until Fall 2026
